Elevate your wraps with Asian Diced Chicken, a must-try for every chicken enthusiast. Perfect for adding a flavorful twist to your favorite wraps. Put this together for tonight’s dinner. It has diced or ground chicken, yummy Asian flavors, and a bit of a kick. I placed it on a sideboard with some butter lettuce, rice, and noodles. It was a hit. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Poultry Essentials: Asian Diced Chicken for Wraps

Cook time: 20 Min  Prep time: 1 Hr   Serves: Several

1 lb chicken breasts, diced or ground
1 Tbsp olive oil, plus a bit more for cooking in the pan
1/4 c oyster sauce
2 Tbsp tamari sauce, or liquid aminos
1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp ginger powder
1 Tbsp sriracha sauce
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
1/4 c celery, chopped
pistachios, chopped, for garnish, optional
2. You will need a large skillet to make this recipe, and a non-reactive bowl to marinate the chicken.
3. Gather your ingredients (mise en place).
4. Chop or grind up your chicken breast. I prefer it chopped.
5. Add all of the marinade ingredients to a bowl, and then whisk together.
6. Add the chicken, mix to combine, then cover and place into the fridge for about an hour.
7. Add a bit of oil to a skillet over medium-high heat, and when the oil begins to shimmer, add the chicken.
8. Cook and stir occasionally, until just about cooked through, about 5 – 7 minutes.
9. After the sauce has reduced by 75% add the chopped celery.
10. Continue to stir until the sauce further reduces and thickens, 3 – 5 minutes.
12. Serve as a wrap on butter lettuce, over rice, or noodles. Garnish with the chopped nuts, if using. Enjoy.
13. Keep the faith, and keep cooking
