Hunan Chicken: Spicy Chinese Flavor Burst

Hunan Chicken: Spicy Chinese Flavor Burst

Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into strips
2 lg limes
1 c Hoisin sauce
1/3 c oyster sauce
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c dry sherry
1/4 c honey
1 Tbsp sambal oelek
1/4 c fresh ginger, minced
10 clove garlic, minced
2 shallots, minced
chopped cilantro, for garnish
Directions
1. Mix all ingredients together except for the cilantro. Let marinate for 1 hour.
2. Pour chicken and marinade into a large saucepan. Cook until the chicken is done and the sauce is thickened. 7 to 10 minutes.
3. Serve over rice, rice sticks, or angel hair pasta. Garnished with cilantro.
