Honey-Glazed Grilled Chicken Thighs

Honey-Glazed Grilled Chicken Thighs

Enjoy the sweet and sticky Honey-Glazed Grilled Chicken Thighs. A finger-licking good meal for a summer barbecue. This was great. We all loved it and will make it again. We used skin on thighs, but I did debone them. A little extra work but well worth it. The cook time... well, I make sure the chicken is done.

Honey-Glazed Grilled Chicken Thighs

Cook time: 15 Min  Prep time: 20 Min  Serves: 4
Ingredients
1/4 c honey
2 Tbsp soy sauce
2 clove garlic, minced or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, to taste
4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
2 Tbsp olive or vegetable oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper coarse ground
Directions
Test Kitchen Tips: While this is for chicken thighs, you can use any cut of chicken. We did have to grill our chicken slightly longer.
1. Heat gas or charcoal grill. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, red pepper flakes (if you use them), and garlic; blend well with a wire whisk. Set aside.
2. Brush chicken thighs with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. When the grill is heated, place the chicken on a gas grill over medium heat or on a charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook covered for 8 to 12 minutes or until juice is clear when the center of the thickest part is cut (180°F); turning once.
4. Brush with honey mixture during the last 2 minutes of cooking time.
