Chicken Thighs with Apricot Jam Sage & Lemon Zest

Cook time: 40 Min  Prep time: 23 Hr   Serves: 2

4 bone in skin on chicken thighs
salt and pepper
3 sprig fresh sage leaves only
3 Tbsp olive oil
1 lemon
1/2 c apricot jam chunks cut up
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
clove garlic minced
1. In a large bowl massage the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Add the sage and 1 tbsp olive oil massage again. cover and let marinate over night.
2. Preheat oven 400 degrees. Grate the lemon zist into a small bowl. add the juice of the lemon and apricot jam. Mix well stir in the worcestershire sauce and garlic
3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and brush away the sage leaves. Rub the apricot glaze over the chicken thighs. Place the chicken into a baking pan and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
